Nach dem Live Konzert in der Wanne, geht es weiter mit der »PlusPlusPlus [+++]« - Labelnight & Concert Afterparty im Deck (oben) weiter, ab 22:00. Kymian Law begann schon als Kind, mit Instrumenten zu musizieren, die er aus verschiedenen Alltagsgegenständen improvisierte. Von Holz, Glas und seiner eigenen Stimme gelangte er bald zur Beherrschung von Schlagzeug, Klavier, Marimba und Flöte, wobei er seine Schwierigkeiten aus der Kindheit in die Schöpfung einfließen ließ. Die tiefe Erforschung seiner afrikanischen Wurzeln hat ihn dazu gebracht, komplexe Mosaike aus alten Klängen und moderner Ästhetik zu schaffen. Die Musik, die ihre Wurzeln im Drum & Bass hat, geht weit über die Grenzen dieses oft formelhaften Genres hinaus, erweitert die klanglichen Möglichkeiten und bricht mit den Standardarrangements.

Kimyan Law started making music using instruments improvised from various everyday objects when he was a kid. He soon graduated from using wood, glass, and his own voice to a mastery of drums, piano, marimba, and flute, channeling his childhood difficulties into creation. Deep explorations into his African roots have led him to create complex mosaics of ancient sound with modern aesthetics. Having its roots in Drum & Bass, the music flies far beyond the confines of that often-formulaic genre, expanding sonic ranges and disrupting standard arrangements.
