Aber wie gehts dir wirklich? Ganz ehrlich, uns ist der Weltschmerz nimmer wurscht. Deshalb haben wir ihn in unserer neue Single „Nicht So“ verarbeitet. Und zwar auf Matatu Art: Laut, nach vorn und mit ordentlich Schmackes. Bei unserer Single Release Show am 25. Jänner 2024 in der Flucc Wanne machen wir aus Ärger Tanzwut und aus Schockstarre Bewegungsspielraum. Gemeinsam mit KüR, der Gewinnerin des FM4 Protestsongcontests.

But how are you really feeling? Honestly, we don't give a damn about world-weariness. That's why we've dealt with it in our new single "Nicht So". And we did it the Matatu way: loud, forward and with a lot of grit. At our single release show on January 25, 2024 in the Flucc Wanne, we turn anger into dance rage and shock rigidity into room to move. Together with KüR, the winner of the FM4 protest song contest.

Maryna Maramzinskaya aka KüR at FM4 Protestsongs Contest
Die 18-jährige ukrainische Sängerin Maryna Marmazinskaya (KüR), die 2004 in Kiew geboren wurde und nach Österreich geflohen ist, hat mit ihrem zweisprachig vorgetragenen Lied "Ljudi (People)" den 20. Protest Song Contest im Wiener Rabenhof gewonnen. Sie setzte sich mit großem Vorsprung durch und erhielt sowohl vom Publikum als auch von vier der sechs Jurymitglieder die höchste Punktzahl.

The 18-year-old Ukrainian singer Maryna Marmazinskaya (KüR), who was born in Kiev in 2004 and fled to Austria, won the 20th Protest Song Contest at Vienna's Rabenhof with her bilingually performed song "Ljudi (People)". She prevailed by a wide margin and received the highest score from the audience as well as from four out of six jury members.
