Mit dem Soziologen Simon Schaupp spricht Lisa Mittendrein über die Rolle von Digitalisierung in der Arbeitswelt, wie Widerstand und Aneignung den Einsatz neuer Technologien verändern, und welchen Beitrag sie gerade angesichts der Klimakrise zu einer nicht-kapitalistischen, demokratischen Wirtschaft leisten könnten.

Klimakatastrophen, Krieg und Inflation, steigende Armut und krasse Ungleichheit. Es ist nicht leicht, zwischen all den Krisen nicht die Hoffnung zu verlieren. Eine andere Welt ist nötig wie nie und scheint doch weiter weg als je zuvor. Wir müssen verstehen, wie die Krisen unserer Gegenwart zusammenhängen und welche Wege uns in eine neue, bessere Zeit führen können. 

Die neue Zeit kommt nicht von allein.* Das ist der Titel einer neuen Gesprächsreihe von Attac, die am 12. Oktober im Wiener FLUCC startete. Lisa Mittendrein diskutiert dabei 4x pro Jahr mit internationalen Intellektuellen, die an vorderster Front aktueller Debatten und sozialer Kämpfe stehen. Frisch, kurzweilig, in feiner Clubatmosphäre und überhaupt ein bisschen anders.

Wir brauchen ein klares Bild der Welt, in der wir leben, und Mut für die politischen Auseinandersetzungen, die uns bevorstehen.

Die neue Gesprächsreihe soll dafür Orientierung schaffen.

Lisa Mittendrein talks to sociologist Simon Schaupp about the role of digitalization in the world of work, how resistance and appropriation are changing the use of new technologies, and what contribution they could make to a non-capitalist, democratic economy, especially in light of the climate crisis.
