DJ Keshi is a Vienna based Dj with iranian & kurdish backround who loves to explore and discover various musical genres such as bass, breakbeat, trance and UK garage.

Philio: Characteristics of her eclectic selection involve rough UK bass, which is somewhere between breakbeat, 4 to the floor and dubby bassbin jungle but she also doesn’t shy away to do excursions into the realms of progressive house and more techno-inspired gems with a splash of nostalgic 90s sounds according to the maxim "keep moving forward“!


Insomnist: His selections feature soulful and driving sounds from breakbeat over jungle, footwork and dnb (and many other genres).


Tursa: Experimenting with all kinds of genres, from jazz/video game music to jungle/footwork, the sense parties showed a wide variety of the musical spectrum. unfortunately, corona put an end to this beautiful event that started as a fun experiment but became more serious over time. A few years later, the motivation to DJ and host parties is greater than ever and that’s how patches was born.

Heute ist der Geburtstag von Tursa. Komm früh, um zu sehen, wie er die Stimmung für die erste Ausgabe von Patches anheizt. [...] Insomnist wird Kekse mitbringen, ihr findet sie am Eingang.

DJ Keshi ist eine in Wien lebende DJane mit iranischem und kurdischem Hintergrund, die es liebt, verschiedene Musikgenres wie Bass, Breakbeat, Trance und UK Garage zu erforschen und zu entdecken.

Philio: Charakteristisch für ihre eklektische Auswahl ist der raue UK-Bass, der irgendwo zwischen Breakbeat, 4 to the Floor und dubbigem Bassbin Jungle liegt, aber sie scheut sich auch nicht vor Ausflügen in die Gefilde von Progressive House und eher techno-inspirierten Perlen mit einem Spritzer nostalgischer 90er-Jahre-Sounds, ganz nach dem Motto "keep moving forward"!

Insomnist: Seine Auswahl bietet gefühlvolle und treibende Sounds von Breakbeat über Jungle, Footwork und Dnb (und viele andere Spielarten).

Tursa: Durch das Experimentieren mit allen möglichen Genres, von Jazz/Videospielmusik bis hin zu Jungle/Footwork, zeigten die "Sense"-Partys eine große Vielfalt des musikalischen Spektrums. Leider setzte Corona dieser schönen Veranstaltung ein Ende, die als lustiges Experiment begann, aber mit der Zeit immer ernster wurde. Ein paar Jahre später ist die Motivation zum Auflegen und Veranstalten von Partys größer denn je, und so wurde "patches" geboren.

Finding her love for electronic music at a young age at the club scenes in Vienna and Berlin, she soon began to be interested mainly in the sounds coming from the UK. Expect her sets to be bouncy and emotional!

Vienna local „tursa“ is the new alias of Theo who is one of the patches crew members. His career started as a member of the vollkontakt collective playing mostly drum and bass. Over the years, his interest in breakbeat and underground electronic music grew and with it an interesting selection of music. After the vollkontakt era, Theo and other former members launched a new event called sense.

Der Wiener tursa ist das neue Pseudonym von Theo, einem der Mitglieder der patches -Crew. Seine Karriere begann als Mitglied des vollkontakt - Kollektivs, wo er hauptsächlich Drum and Bass spielte. Im Laufe der Jahre wuchs sein Interesse an Breakbeat und elektronischer Underground-Musik und damit auch eine interessante Musikauswahl. Nach der vollkontakt - Ära gründete Theo mit anderen ehemaligen Mitgliedern eine neue Veranstaltung namens sense.

Wiener DJ - entdeckte seine Liebe zu Bass und schnellen Breaks schon als Kind und hat sie nie wieder losgelassen. Er war Mitglied des Wiener dnb-Kollektivs vollkontakt und Mitbegründer des Multigenre-Events sense.

Philomène Robinne aka Philo proves you don't need decades of experience to understand and push boundaries of a genre. Her originally vinyl-exclusive selection has evolved over time into a digital hybrid to achieve the best possible sound. A regular on UK lineups, Philo played a slot at Londons legendary Rupture and moved between festivals , such as Fusion or croatian Membrain festival as well as Warning or HÖR in Berlin. Not long ago she started producing and released on Nice & Deadly, nonesuch, Stereo45, Defrostatica, Hardcore Energy, Basswerk and Miura Records- more to come soon! 
In 2021, together with Marie Montexier, AINO and no:elia, she founded the event series Précey, which focuses on female and non-binary artists to push the scene in Cologne.

Ihre ursprünglich Vinyl-exklusive Auswahl hat sich im Laufe der Zeit zu einem digitalen Hybrid entwickelt, um den bestmöglichen Sound zu erzielen. Philo ist ein regelmäßiger Gast in Großbritannien, spielte einen Slot auf dem legendären Rupture in Londons und pendelte zwischen Festivals wie dem Fusion oder dem kroatischen Membrain Festival sowie dem Warning oder HÖR in Berlin. Seit kurzem produziert sie und veröffentlicht auf Nice & Deadly, nonesuch, Stereo45, Defrostatica, Hardcore Energy, Basswerk und Miura Records - weitere Veröffentlichungen folgen! 
Im Jahr 2021 gründete sie zusammen mit Marie Montexier, AINO und no:elia die Veranstaltungsreihe Précey, die sich auf weibliche und nicht-binäre Künstlerinnen konzentriert, um die Szene in Köln voranzutreiben.
