Schere3000 ­- collective for sapphic visibility in nightlife

Schere3000 isn’t just another club night, it’s a response to the long-standing imbalance in queer nightlife. As a collective for sapphic visibility in nightlife, this project emerges from a desire to create spaces for those so often pushed to the margins of the dancefloor.

The term sapphic is used in its broadest, most inclusive sense: embracing lesbians, bisexu-

al and pansexual women, trans mascs and femmes, non-binary people, and others who don’t

conform to society’s gendered norms.

Schere3000 seeks to create an intentional shift in a scene that frequently centers cis gay

men, with the goal to create a space where sapphics are prioritized, protected, and celebrated.
