In Trance 95 (live)

In Trance 95, the iconic electronic duo of Alex Machairas and Nikos Veliotis, perform in Vienna for the first time.

Formed in Athens in 1988, they are regarded as pioneers of the Greek minimal synth and coldwave scene. From their early analog recordings to their strong and growing presence in international underground circles, they remain one of the most influential acts in the genre. Blending classic tracks with newly recorded material, their live set unfolds as a carefully structured progression — from atmospheric minimalism to intense, hypnotic climaxes.

La Punta Bianca (live)

After having made its name in the Parisian alternative scene, the La Punta Bianca duo gathered attention in 2019 when their first EP Demian released on Detriti Records. First duplicated on tape, it was then repressed two times on vinyl. In this minimal wave gem, Francesca Diprima and Philippe Brown’s voices echo each other on synthetic and mysterious instrumentations. The EP’s success in the synth-wave scene enabled Philippe and Francesca to tour in France and in Europe. Their first album Disquiet finally comes to life after three years of recording sessions spread out between Paris and Genoa. Marked with absurd romanticism and Lynchian strangeness, this poetic musical object alternates between Francesca and Philippe’s three mother tongues: French, Italian, and English. Sometimes dancey, sometimes melodramatic, the duo’s synth-pop influences range from Angelo Badalamenti and John Barry’s cinematic experiences, to Leonard Cohen-style dreamy poetic lyrics, the whole laid out on carefully programmed synthesizer and drum machines, giving rise in some instances to uncontrollable emotional outbursts.

Martial Canterel (dj)

Martial Canterel played a live set at Sniffin’ Glue last September and now returns back to Vienna for a DJ set. Sniffin’ Glue is a community rooted in friendship and togetherness, so it only feels right to welcome Sean back - not just because of his connection with In Trance 95, but also because he’s been glued to the Sniffin’ Glue crew since September.
